Improving access to treatments and helping raise the therapeutic standards for people suffering from hemophilia and other hemorrhagic conditions. This is the goal with which, once again, this year Kedrion will be supporting the World Hemophilia Day the event that has been celebrated on 17th April for years to boost worldwide the dialogue on and the awareness of hemorrhagic conditions.
The World Haemophilia Day 2014 is focussed on the need to encourage hemophiliac patients’ communities across the world to go on with dialogue and drive change (“Speak out” and “Create change” are this year’s slogans). It is above all young people who are called to act in the forefront and play a leading role within each community.
In Italy, Kedrion is one of the supporters of the initiatives put in place by FedEmo (Federation of hemophiliac patients’ associations) in Rome and by Fondazione Paracelso in Milan.
On the global scene, Kedrion’s subsidiaries in other parts of the world will also contribute to the World Haemophilia Day.
