Plazmaferezis \u00c1llom\u00e1s Kft achieves international PPTA certification

Kedrion Biopharma’s subsidiary, Plasmaferezis \u00c1llom\u00e1s Kft (PFA), has been awarded International Quality Plasma Program (IQPP) certification by the Plasma Protein Therapeutics Association (PPTA) for its plasma collection centers in Hungary.  The three centers – two in Budapest and one in Debrecen – are the first in the country to become IQPP certified.
 
Certification is conferred after a rigorous inspection by an independent third party, and demonstrated compliance with voluntary standards that ensure the highest level of quality and safety of human source plasma.<\/p>\n

PPTA Vice President Joshua Penrod Source stated, “We congratulate Plazmaferezis \u00c1llom\u00e1s Kft on obtaining this mark of distinction which demonstrates its commitment to plasma quality and safety.”<\/p>\n

Gabriella Komlodi, Managing Director of Plazmaferezis \u00c1llom\u00e1s, observed, “Considering that the plasma collected ultimately serves the health and well-being of Hungarian patients, as part of Kedrion Group, we set the bar high and therefore wanted to measure up to the IQPP standards. Whatever we do, we want to do it right.”<\/p>\n
