A session dedicated to transfusion medicine and blood donation

Blood and plasma-derived products will take centre stage today at Expo Salute – 2nd Forum on Health, Food and the Environment. In the Sala Belvedere of the Auditorium Testori (Palazzo della Regione Lombardia), the morning session of the Forum will see the National President of Avis, Vincenzo Saturni, outlining the “AVIS per Expo” project, focused on promoting healthy, positive lifestyles as prerequisites to the informed donation of blood components.<\/p>\n

To follow, Corrado Del B\u00f2, associate professor of Philosophy of Law at the Faculty of Legal Science of Milan University, will chair a workshop on “Plasma-derived products and justice”, in which the directors of the main donors’ associations (AVIS, FIDAS, FRATRES and the Italian Red Cross) and many experts will take part.<\/p>\n
