The AIP project gives voice to patients and their doctors, and highlights the challenges, fears and hopes related to <\/em>Primary Immunodeficiencies<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Kedrion is proud to support, through an unconditional contribution, the “SIDE BY SIDE: Lives in the mirror and (extra)ordinary stories about Primary Immunodeficiencies” project, a narrative medicine initiative conceived and developed by the Primary Immunodeficiencies Association (AIP O.d.V.).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The project aims to share the extraordinary and touching experiences of six patients and their referring physicians, allies in the difficult battle against Primary Immunodeficiencies (PIDs), rare diseases of the immune system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These stories are told through the authentic voices of those who have experienced these diseases and who, at certain time in their lives, have begun to “walk together,” SIDE BY SIDE, bravely facing the challenges and hardships caused by this disease, while also celebrating the small joys and circumstances of genuine and happy everyday life as a result of having a clinical history of Primary Immunodeficiency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The six stories have been collected in a book published on a dedicated section of the AIP website at: www.aip-it.org\/i-nostri-progetti\/affianco\/<\/a>. Each chapter is accompanied by a video in which patients and doctors tell their stories on camera. As of October 5th, the videos have been published every 15 days on the page dedicated to the project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
