Two scholarships awarded to innovative projects in the field of congenital coagulopathies<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Over the years, Kedrion has made a solid commitment to research, actively engaging in supporting numerous projects and initiatives in the field of research and training. The aim is to promote the diffusion of knowledge and stimulate innovation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As part of the research awards handed out by the Carlo Erba Foundation of Milan in collaboration with INGM (National Institute of Molecular Genetics), the company is proud to have once again promoted two scholarships in memory of Guelfo Marcucci, founder of Kedrion, awarded to young scientists for their original research in the field of congenital coagulopathies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year the award was given to Marco Colussi, University of Milan, with the project entitled \u201cArtificial intelligence solutions for the remote monitoring of hemophiliac patients\u201d, and Addolorata Truma, IRCCS Ospedale Maggiore C\u00e0 Granda Policlinico in Milan, with the project \u201cGlobal assessment of cardiovascular risk in patients with hemophilia\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the ceremony, held at the Fondazione IRCCS C\u00e0 Granda Ospedale Maggiore Policlinico in Milan, Paolo Marcucci, Chairman of Kedrion, had the pleasure of presenting a plaque to the two researchers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The awards ceremony for the “Fabrizio Fabbrizzi” research prize will also be held early next year. The award was established by Kedrion in 2020 with the aim of supporting young graduates who have distinguished themselves through original research in the field of plasma-derived therapies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
