Kedrion has contributed two research scholarships named after Guelfo Marcucci to the Carlo Erba Foundation Research Awards program. These scholarships are granted to young scientists for original research carried out in the field of non-oncological hematology.
The many applications submitted underwent a rigorous selection process, and the scholarships were awarded to researchers Mariangela Scavone (University of Milan) and Savino Sciascia (University of Torino).
The awards ceremony – attended by Kedrion Chairman Paolo Marcucci – took place on 4 October at the National Molecular Genetics Institute Foundation (NMGI), part of the IRCCS Ca’ Granda Ospedale Maggiore Policlinico di Milano Foundation.
