Speak up
What is the “Speak Up” culture
Promoting the “Speak Up” culture means promoting an environment in which collaborators (including employees, interns, and temporary workers) and external stakeholders (such as suppliers, consultants, business partners, and customers) of the company feel both responsible and free to report concerns regarding compliance or breaches (even only potential) of laws or company policies, without fear of retaliation.
The Speak Up culture is therefore aligned with Kedrion’s Values.
How to make a report
Kedrion’s collaborators and stakeholders are encouraged, in the context of their activities, to share their compliance-related doubts or concerns with their manager or company contact person, involving, where appropriate, the relevant corporate functions (e.g., Human Resources, Legal & Compliance, etc.).
However, Kedrion also provides the following Speak Up channels, which collaborators and stakeholders can use to submit reports:
– the web platform www.mycompliancereport.com/report?cid=KEDRN
– the telephone number 800 934 167
These channels are managed by an appointed external provider and are overseen by Kedrion’s Ethics & Compliance Team.
It is also possible to send reports anonymously or by providing your personal data to the platform provider while requesting that such data not be shared with Kedrion.
In this way, Kedrion will still be able to contact the reporting subject, through the provider, should it need further clarifications or additional information, and to provide feedback on the outcome of its checks.
What can be reported through the “Speak Up” channels
Through the “Speak Up” channels, concerns regarding compliance or breaches (even only potential) of laws or company policies can be reported in good faith.
These channels may also be used to report:
– doubts or breaches related to the Management Systems adopted by Kedrion concerning Gender Equality and Social Sustainability (PAS24000). Alternatively, for these types of reports, Kedrion collaborators may contact the Gender Equality System Manager or the Ethics Officer, whose contact details are available on the company intranet.
– illegal conducts relevant under Legislative Decree 231/2001 concerning corporate administrative liability. Alternatively, for these reports, it is possible to directly contact the Surveillance Body appointed by the Kedrion legal entities in Italy whose contact details are available at this page.
For reports concerning breaches of EU or national regulations that damage public interest, as governed by Legislative Decree no. 24 of 10/02/2023, it is also possible, when permitted by law, to use external reporting channels. More information is available on the website of the National Anti-Corruption Authority.
The following reports must be submitted through the dedicated channels:
- Reports of Adverse Events – use the Pharmacovigilance channel.
- Reports of hazardous situations, accidents, or near misses concerning Health and Safety – use the links/QR codes available in company offices and sites.
- Reports of data breaches – use the Data Protection Officer’s channel.
