Following the success of the first editions, Kedrion Biopharma has renewed its support for the fourth edition of Neuromuscular Disorder Day (GMN2021), which this year was held for the first time in a virtual format, taking place on Saturday, March 13 in 16 Italian cities simultaneously The initiative, conceived and promoted by the Neuromuscular Alliance, offers an update on the current management of this group of rare diseases – from diagnosis to therapy to patient care – at national, regional and local levels.
More than 40 Italian research centers took part in this initiative, involving 16 cities from North to South (Ancona, Bari, Bologna, Brescia, Genoa, Messina, Milan, Naples, Padua, Palermo, Parma, Pisa, Rome, Siena, Turin, Udine) and which hosted meetings and online activities aimed primarily at patients and their families. During the events topics of common interest to neurologists, physiatrists, pediatricians, general practitioners, child neuropsychiatrists, physical therapists, biologists, geneticists, nurses, psychologists and public administration experts in disability were also addressed
