AFFIANCO, supported by Kedrion, wins the OMaR Award

The AFFIANCO project, conceived and developed by the National Association of Primary Immunodeficiencies (AIP) with the unconditional contribution of Kedrion, after being selected as a finalist, wins the award in the “Best communication campaign” category (non-professionals). The President of the association, Alessandro Segato, collected the award on stage.

The event, now in its eleventh edition, is supported by Kedrion as Gold Sponsor. It celebrates initiatives that effectively communicate the complex world of rare diseases in a scientifically correct and rigorous, but also comprehensible and original manner.

AFFIANCO, already winner of the prestigious UNIAMO Special Award at the film competition “Uno sguardo raro”, is an innovative narrative medicine project. AFFIANCO weaves a choral tale from the stories of patients and the testimonies of doctors, offering a unique insight into the experience of living with a rare disease, encompassing its emotional depth and everyday challenges.
