GMN2018 focuses on the quality of patients’ lives

After a successful first edition, Kedrion Biopharma is supporting, for the second year running, the Italian Neuromuscular Diseases Day (Giornata per le Malattie Neuromuscolari). The GMN2018  is an initiative created and promoted by Alleanza Neuromuscolare, a consortium of Italian associations that promotes training and research in neuromuscular diseases. The event will be held on 10 March in 17 Italian cities home to clinical Centers for these diseases. The Day aims to offer updates on the complete management of neuromuscular diseases to patients and their families, to the relevant scientific Associations as well as to neurologists, physiatrists, General Practitioners, physiotherapists, psychologists and nurses.

“Providing continuity and support for events of this relevance, which put patients and their needs at the center – comment Lorenzo Martini, Marketing Director Immunoglobulins & Virus Inactivation, and Alessandro Remedi, Marketing Manager IVIG and Plasminogen – is consistent with Kedrion’s values. We are committed, and always have been, to improving the quality of life for patients affected by rare diseases”.

As mentioned, 17 cities (three more than last year) have adhered to GMN2018: Ancona, Bari, Bologna, Brescia, Cagliari, Genova, Messina, Milano, Napoli, Padova, Palermo, Parma, Pisa, Roma, Siena, Torino, Udine. For more information on single events: giornatamalattieneuromuscolari.it
