Epaday, on Friday 29th in Turin, is the study day that officially launches the Epateam campaign, a wide-ranging initiative aimed at the medical and scientific communities, and the general public, to spotlight liver transplantation, and increase awareness of the outstanding results achieved by Italian liver transplantology.
This is a very prestigious occasion, because on Saturday 30th Turin will be celebrating having reached the record-breaking number of 3,000 procedures carried out in the Ospedale Le Molinette’s transplant center. For the specialists and experts gathered at the “Torino Incontra” conference center, the first Epaday will be an important opportunity for discussion. The topics being debated are listed on the epaday.org website, a multimedia tool part of the epateam.org platform.
Epaday.org features data and useful information, official statistics and a number of interesting video interviews with eminent specialists, plus a calendar of forthcoming events. The Epateam campaign, made possible thanks to an unconditional grant from Kedrion Biopharma, in fact comprises of a further four events taking place over the next two months in Bari, Cagliari, Padova and Firenze, where four other important transplant centers are located.
