Kedrion recently supported the shipment of a number of plasma-derived medicinal products to Palestine, supplied by the Regions of Marche and Emilia-Romagna. These included Factor VIII, Factor IX and Prothrombin Complex concentrate.
In order to ensure prompt delivery of the products, the company collaborated in the preparation of export documentation, paid the shipping costs and provided logistical support.
The donation falls within the HAEMO-PAL project, an initiative of the Italian Higher Institute of Health, coordinated by the National Blood Center as part of the activities of the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation – Ministry of Foreign Affairs (AICS).
The aim of HAEMO-PAL is to support the Palestinian Ministry of Health in strengthening clinical centers locally that diagnose and treat congenital hematological diseases.
