Kedrion Biopharma supports 2nd Program of PharmaMark

Kedrion Biopharma believes in innovation as a core value and concrete objective to be pursued together with its communities. To this aim, it works to strengthen its commitment toward education by promoting local training programs that meet the needs of the job market. Therefore, Kedrion Biopharma is proud to have been the first company to support PharmaMark, the Pharmaceutical Marketing course offered by the PIN University – Polo Universitario “Città di Prato”.

The objectives of this training program includes providing people with pharmaceutical marketing skills and giving them a full understanding of the ethical issues related to over-the-counter (OTC) medicines. With the great success of the first program, which helped 82.3% of all participants find employment within just two months of completing the course, enrollments for the second program are open until February 24, 2019, with classes beginning on March 15.

“The positive results of the first program confirmed Kedrion Biopharma’s decision to support this project right from the start,” said Sara Da Pisa, recruiting and training manager for Kedrion Biopharma. “Participants enjoyed a highly productive interaction with the business world, and last year’s final projects, which were conducted in collaboration with Kedrion Biopharma, reached near-professional levels of quality.”

At the end of the program, course participants will have access to the network of businesses involved in the project for post-program internships that may lead to full employment.

“It’s a brief, but high-profile course that starts with the training needs and enables course participants to make the transition from academia to the business world in the pharmaceutical industry,” said Simone Guercini, a professor at both PIN and the University of Florence as well as the science coordinator for the course. “The previous program was attended by undergraduate students, recent graduates, and even people already employed in the industry.”
