In recent years, Kedrion has established a long-standing and strong collaborative relationship with the medical-scientific world. It is a commitment that has led the Company to support multiple projects and initiatives in research and training, with the aim of contributing to spreading knowledge and encouraging innovation.
In collaboration with the research awards of the Carlo Erba Foundation of Milan, the company is proud to have created, as in previous years, two scholarships in memory of Guelfo Marcucci, Kedrion’s founder, to be awarded to young scientists for their original research in the field of non-oncological hematology.
The research scholarships were awarded to Giulia Ceglie (University of Rome Tor Vergata) and Maria Teresa Pagliari (IRCCS Ca’ Granda Polyclinic of Milan).
Paolo Marcucci, President of Kedrion, and Marialina Marcucci, Chief Communications & External Relations Officer, awarded a plaque to the two young researchers during the ceremony held on Friday, November 12, at the Fondazione Istituto Nazionale di Genetica Molecolare – INGM, located within the premises of Fondazione IRCCS Ca’ Granda Ospedale Maggiore Policlinico in Milan.
